Job Description
Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Engineer for a multi-year contract assignment in Phoenix, AZ. Work will be hybrid with onsite in downtown Phoenix, AZ for occasional meetings. Pay is $80 - $93/hr.
Candidate will be providing technical leadership for a major AWS cloud migration project. Candidate will also be developing and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC), implementing best practice security policies, and establishing and optimizing a CI/CD Pipeline. Will be monitoring cloud infrastructure performance and implementing optimized solutions as needed. Candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex issues and for providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Candidate must have 4+ years’ experience with AWS design and operational support. Must also have expert level knowledge of core AWS services, strong scripting skills, and prior experience in migration to the cloud. Preferred candidate will have experience with Terraform, an AWS certification and/or a Bachelor’s degree.
