Job Description
Gould Intelligent (an Arizona company) is seeking a Financial Compliance Consultant for a long term contract assignment. Work will be hybrid with two days working from home. On site will be in downtown Phoenix. Pay is $45 - $48/hr.
Candidate will be reviewing multiple bank accounts, advising on proper reconciliation procedures and oversight, and establishing robust checks and balances for ACFR reporting. Candidate must have deep knowledge of GASB. Candidate must have a minimum of five years of accounting experience with at least three years spent with government accounting and a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Preferred candidate will have an active CPA license, experience with Accounts Payable, and/or Auditing experience.
Must be eligible to work on a W2 basis for any U.S. employer without sponsorship (no 3rd parties or corp to corp), currently reside in the Phoenix Metro area, be able to work onsite as needed, be able to start with 2 weeks’ notice, and be able to pass relevant background check.
